Photogrammetry
By taking a series of photographs, this method is a great way to create a highly realistic digital 3D model of an object or structure for use in visualisations like digital animations or augmented reality.
Object Photogrammetry
Using simple photography, we can create 3D models of historical objects for online interaction and greater accessibility. These can then be used within augmented reality, animated videos, games or simply added to your Sketchfab online collection.
Structure and Landscape Photogrammetry
With the help of our UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) fleet, we are able to create models of large structures or areas of the landscape. These might be used as part of a virtual reality interactive, a digital animation and more.

Researched models
Through research and 3D modeling, academically credible visualizations of lost or modified buildings can be built to serve within exhibits, as part of a Virtual Reality display, as a research tool, game development, film or animations.
Slingsby Castle, North Yorkshire
Slingsby Castle is a ruin of a 17th century manor near York. 3D models of both the structure built around 1630 and an earlier design which was never constructed were built as part of a thesis to determine the differences between designs and to better understand today’s ruin.
This project helped to prove the methodological significance of 3D modeling for Buildings Archaeology and provided the village of Slingsby with visualizations affording its citizens and guests a better understanding of the ruin that was once a towering structure.

2D Image Alteration
Whether you’d like to reveal to your visitors what a space might have looked like or provide visualization of a space or object before modern modifications, we combine several techniques to make this possible in 2D. Photogrammetry is used to create 3D models of existing spaces or objects which are then combined with 3D modeling and photoshop techniques to modify existing images, as seen in the example below.
This room was originally designed as it appears on the right. However, the death of the owner stalled the project and led to the version we have today. We were commissioned to provide a 2D altered image of a room to provide visitors with a visualization of the original design. Read more about this project here.
